Hands-on AI engineering
Embedded principal: I build the thing and write the code — agents, guardrails, evals, tool contracts — alongside your team. Evaluation-first: I prove correctness before I optimize, and show evidence before I ship.
2-week Discovery / Data & Feasibility Audit
Clarify the use case, assess data readiness, and find the fastest path to value.
You leave with: a data readiness assessment, a prioritized opportunity map (ROI × risk), success metrics and an evaluation approach, a risk register, and recommended next steps.
4-week Pilot (fixed scope, acceptance criteria)
Build and validate a pilot against criteria agreed up front.
You leave with: acceptance criteria, a working pilot and evaluation results, and a production handoff plan (architecture + next-step roadmap).
Fractional / interim lead
Senior technical leadership for data & AI teams — from 1–2 days/week up to a full interim team-lead engagement (currently leading a 4–7 person DS & advanced analytics team). Roadmap ownership, stakeholder steering, reviews, unblockers, and delivery accountability.
How it works
- Intro call — a short conversation to assess fit and define the problem.
- Scope — a lightweight proposal with deliverables, timeline, and dependencies.
- Kickoff — align on success criteria and get access to data/systems.
- Delivery — weekly check-ins and fast feedback cycles.
- Handoff — deliverables, documentation, and a clear next-step roadmap.
Practicalities
- Legal entity: InertialRange Labs AB (Swedish Aktiebolag) — invoicing in SEK or EUR.
- Location & mode: based in Linköping, Sweden — remote-first across the Nordics and EU, with onsite for kickoffs and key milestones.
- Fit: strongest where there’s real data, a real production target, and a stakeholder who wants ownership and evidence — not a strategy deck or a research paper.
- Confidentiality: comfortable working under NDA and within existing security/compliance constraints.
